PRAY PLAN PROCEED

When our lives are in a whirlwind, where do we even begin? Over the years many people have told me that during times of trial, tribulation, or just plain confusion we do one of two things: turn to God or away from Him. Looking back, I can think of far too many instances where I threw in the towel

and turned my back on God. On the other side of things, there have been times where all I did in the midst of a storm was cling onto Him. When the going gets tough, where do you fall?

That’s the thing, it feels like more often than not I merely fall. I’m not falling to my knees like I should, I’m not giving my burdens to Him as 1 Peter 5:7 says.
We must remember that God doesn’t want us to aim for perfection before we go to Him. He wants us to come as we are. Yes, He wants our broken, imperfect selves. Next time your world has just been shaken and your mind is racing at one hundred miles per hour, start by praying to Him despite how other people see you, or even how you see yourself.
Laying whatever concerns plaguing your heart upon His feet doesn’t take away the situation you’re facing, however it does give you the peace and hope you need to keep going onward.
Next, you remember to plan and then you proceed in those plans. Now that you have peace –a peace that reassures you that no matter the outcome, He will always be there–how do you anticipate moving forward in this event? How can God be glorified throughout all of this?

Pray, plan, and proceed are three words to keep within your heart for the times that you’re facing a fork in the road.

We should love all but do we actually

We should love all but do we actually?
What’s at the heart Christian love? Jesus said, “by means of this all will realize that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:35). John, inspired via the Holy Spirit, once wrote, “We understand that we’ve handed from death to existence, due to the fact we adore the
brethren. He who does now not love his brother abides in death” (1 John 3:14). And “through this we realize that we like the youngsters of God, whilst we love God and hold His commandments. For that is the affection of God, that we hold His commandments. And His commandments aren’t burdensome” (1 John five: 2-three).
Christian Love – is a lifestyle
So, what do those scriptures regarding “Christian love” virtually imply? Is it a warm fuzzy feeling? I do not have a warm fuzzy feeling for all of us I meet, Christian or otherwise — does that suggest I’m not saved? No, a “warm fuzzy feeling” is not the biblical definition for “love”. So, what’s the Biblical definition for romance? Let’s seek the Scriptures and discover…
In Luke’s Gospel, Jesus elaborates on this “do unto others as you will have them do unto you” principle. He says, “Supplyto anyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your items do now not ask them returned. And simply as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise. But if you love folks who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love individuals who love them. And in case you do proper to individuals who do desirable to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. And if you lend to the ones from whom you wish to acquire returned, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as a whole lot again. but love your enemies, do right, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward can be brilliant, and you may be sons of the most high. For he’s type to the unthankful and evil. Consequently be merciful, just as your Father is also merciful” (Luke 6:30-36).
Christian Love is Selfless & Giving Love
Christian love is giving to others those matters which you could need them to give you if you had been in their state of affairs — and it’s doing so even supposing they cannot pay you again. In truth, it’s doing so specifically if they can’t pay you back! Christian love is respect for others. It’s mercy. It’scharity.
While the King James translators got here upon the Greek phrase agape (God’s Love), in addition to the use of the English word “love” to transliterate it, they regularly selected the English word “charity.” This became meant to boost the idea that agape is a selfless, giving love. God’s Love is unselfish and unconditional. Now we understand what is supposed by Christian love. Now we recognise what to strive for…

CREATIVE FOR JESUS

Creative for Jesus
Being creative for Jesus is a process that every Christian should master. If we get this process wrong whatever product that we produce no matter how good it is, it will not be what God wants and no matter how much we enjoy doing it, it will not yield the results we desire because we will still miss a big part of the greatest joys that people can experience. It is important that we recognise the role that
God plays in our everyday lives and in our work. We cannot achieve our goals without His guidance.
In whatever endeavour that you desire to embark on, always ask God to it will be all of Him and none of you. You should be always enter the spiritual realm and be sincere before you can do anything. In this way God’s revelation will pour out to assist you in your efforts in a very powerful way; and this can result in your best work yet.
God wants to give us the thrill and honour of genuine involvement in his magnificent purposes. Being creative in your work is God-like and He longs for his children to know this joy. Through His amazing love, Jesus wants us to be His co-heir and His co-workers so that we can better understand our purpose, he doesn’t want us to dictating machines, operating according to what we have been told and not coming up with any brilliant ideas and methods of our own.
1 Corinthians 3:9 says “for we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, God’s building.” And 2 Corinthians 6:1 continues to say “working together with Him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain.
The self and its knowledge must die. Our sinful dependence, pride, selfishness and trying to earn heaven’s approval behaviour must die. We must yield everything to Christ, acknowledging that his ways are higher than ours. We must also go so far beyond this that we refuse and degrade the belief that our divinely-created mental and physical power is unchristian as we have been taught that everything physical is of the devil.
We must always remember that we have a special place in God’s heart. Physically, the Lord is totally self-sufficient. He needs us not more than the handyman need the services of a four year old. But His joy could never be complete without our contribution.
We are all called to minister with our talents therefore let’s continue to seek to refine our gifts. If we are ever hesitant, the parable of the talents is sufficient to seal the matter for us. (Matthew 20-5:14-30). As we grow in Christ, our motivation intensifies. Our love for God fills us with the desire to develop the abilities he has graciously intrusted us with. We treasure the gift because we adore the Giver.

4 IMPORTANT FACTORS TO BEING A CHRISTIAN

1. You have to be Bold. You should not allow fear to consume you. Don’t let it get in the way of you sharing your faith. You should always proclaim the kingdom of God no matter where you are; be you. Stand for what you believe in and not even let any cowardly behaviour get in your way. You should not lack confidence as confidence comes from the Lord.

2. Love unconditionally. Love the way God loves us and the way you love yourself. Remember that God is love and this is deeply reflected in the Bible. He is able to reach use even in our darkest times, our sufferings and pain; nothing can separate us from His love. This is the kind of love we should preach and live in the world.
3. Pray regularly. In everything you do and everywhere you go you should pray. Prayer should be your lifestyle, it should be your all time trade that people will always remember you by. When we fail to pray on a regular, daily basis, and we don’t readHis Word, we show that He is not really that important to us and we are not being faithful.

4. Abstain from sin. Christians still sin, but they do not remain in sin or keep on sinning as if nothing is wrong. We can’t act like we don’t know right and wrong, we have to lead by example and proof that really we have been born again and we know what sin is.

WRITING FOR CHRIST ACCORDING TO HIS GIDUELINES

What does it really mean to write for Christ? How exactly do you write for Christ? Does your story have to be out-right religious or blatantly about God in order to write for Christ?
Writing for God is all about reflecting on his character by Glorifying Him. God is everywhere and anywhere at any given time therefore we don’t always have to state the obvious when we write.
Before we even start to write the article, we should think about the truth. We should be able to tell a story without being fictional but only using your skills and techniques to get the message across. Yes we should be creative but we shouldn’t beat down our storyline. Furthermore, we should pray for guidance before we even start writing your story. We should bring out spiritual or character building principles that the reader can put into practice their life.
Our work has to be good quality and perfect just as our father is perfect. Of course, we will never be able to attain perfection, and getting frustrated with our work will not help things. Sometimes, the only way we can get better, is to let ourselves practice. Practice is the only way we can get better. So we don’t have to be perfect to reflect God. We just have to do our best, and always strive to get better, never resting on our laurels. That honours God.
We should also reflect God through our demonstration of His truth. Anything that is true is of God. Jesus said He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). God is described as “the Spirit of Truth,” (John 16:3). God is truth; therefore, by writing about and displaying truth, we are writing for Christ; displaying the real and ultimate truth.
By writing a story with a moral showing that truth is truth, regardless of what people believe, you are writing for Christ.
By writing stories displaying and promoting Hope, Joy, Courage, Perseverance, Humility, Faith, Altruism, Peace, Mercy, Grace, etc. we are writing for Christ because we are reflecting the character of God. We may or may not include God in our writing, by name, but by displaying His truths and saying, “this is true,” we are putting God in our writing, and we are writing for Christ.
Also, if we strive to write for Christ, we will not be writing alone. If we abandon ourselves to God, then He can use us for His glory. He will guide us as we craft and develop our stories.
If you think about it, there are infinite ways to write for Christ and to glorify God. By writing for God, glory will not only be brought to Him, but we will be taking part in the spreading of God’s kingdom on earth. We can spread truth, and free the culture from its pervasive lies.
The beautiful reality is people are starving for these kinds of stories, and not just Christians. Truth and reality are far more wonderful than the fake. By combiningGod’s truth with a high quality story, we can write novels which deeply impact Christians and non-Christians alike.

THE WORD OF THE LORD

Are you troubled by the lack of concentration when it’s time for Bible Study? Are you finding it difficult to focus on yourBible reading due to disturbing thoughts of what you would like to munch on, thoughts of tomorrow’s outfit choice or just any other topic that you can think of that is usuallyalternating; going back and forth in your brain? This means that you are easily distractible. But with a whole lot of prayer you can be able to fight the frustration and the feelingsinadequacy that is associated with the challenge of losing interest in Bible Studying. Today I want share some tips you can use to get the most out of your Bible Study.

1. Open with Prayer. This is a way of asking for the guidance of the Holy Spirit so that you can be able to grasp the deep and meaningful truths of the revelation which concerns the character or works of our heavenly father.
2. Partner up. Have an accountable partner. This is a person who will not only encourage you, but will go through the Bible study session with you, and also be willing to call you out if necessary. This is a tried and tested method of success that has been used by many people.
3. Really read the Bible. You have to read the whole Bible and passages relevant to the knowledge being emphasized in the particular study. When you read the whole Bible book involved in the study you can be able get the overall picture and sense of the total message and its impact.
4. Keep notes of your studies. At first it can feel like you are doing too much admin so it is important that you make memorable notes that take out the work out of this task. You can be creative and make bullet points prayers or even divide your journal into topics; or any other way that will help you to focus and have fun with it.
5. Make it enjoyable. Align the Bible Study time with one of your favourite activities as this can help you to focus more. It can also help you to relax and find Bible studying more pleasurable.
6. Get rid of your gadgets. These include cell phones, television, iPads, mp3, etc. These causes major distractions; for instance, it can be difficult to ignore you phone when it rings; TV can steal your attention by showing your favourite shows so it is best when it off than on mute.
7. Choose a time that best suits your needs. Timing is everything because it will increase your consistency. Your Bible Studies have to be on the same time every day, be it in the morning or evening, either way you get to spend time with your heavenly father.
8. Have a set out plan. Yes, it is understandable that we want to keep our Bible Study spontaneous but taking The Bible Book and simply opening a random section will not help. It is best to go by it topic by topic or Book by Book as long as you are keeping the consistency.
I believe that these are simple tips that will keep you enticed in your Bible Study and in your journey to build a closer relationship with God.

TALENTS

I was always told to stick to one talent, but I always thought that I am destined to be multi talented. Is it a bad thing to be exceptional at many talents? I am not quite sure, but now days it is rare for people to do just one thing at least that’s how I feel. I am sorry that I do not fit your mold, wait I am not sorry. I am not going to apologize for being me and doing things that I love.
I believe the word to describe us as Emilie from Puttylike would use is multipotentialite what does that mean exactly? “A multipotentialite is a person who has many different interests and creative pursuits in life. Multipotentialites have no “one true calling” the way specialists do. Being a multipotentialite is our destiny. We have many paths and we pursue all of them, either sequentially or simultaneously (or both). Multipotentialites thrive on learning, exploring, and mastering new skills. We are excellent at bringing disparate ideas together in creative ways. This makes us incredible innovators and problem solvers. When it comes to new interests that emerge, our insatiable curiosity leads us to absorb everything we can get our hands on. As a result, we pick up new skills fast and tend to be a wealth of information. ” Puttylike.com
I would think that being great at many things means you then become more valuable to someone else. I never really could stick to one thing growing up so I do not know why people think they can change this fact about me. This is the way God made me I have to accept it.
If no one else can accept this than they are not supposed to understand your vision, move on there’s more people out there that will understand your vision and believe in your success. Just make sure you put gods kingdom first and everything else will follow.
What does the bible say about having multiple talents?
The gifts that we have been given are not just ours they also belong to God. God gave them to us for the purpose of putting HIM first and serving other people.
We all have something to give. We can give our money and our time to volunteer for a worthy cause, be a friend to someone who is sick or lonely,or be a peacemaker, teacher or minister.  Some of us may choose an occupation that is service based. We may just do our everyday jobs with a humble heart and respect for others. We also may receive gifts that are of the creative side of the world.
Apostle Paul said this:
“We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man’s gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully. ” (NIV, Romans 12:5-8)
In His Parable of the Talents, Jesus taught that we must use our gifts carefully. A talent was a very large sum of money, about 80 pounds (36 kg) of silver. Before leaving on a journey, a very wealthy man trusted his wealth to his servants for a brief time that he will be away. Two of the servants used the money carefully to earn income for their master. However, the third servant did not put the money to good use, and the master was very upset with this matter. The parable is written below:
“Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his property to them. To one he gave five talents of money, to another two talents, and to another one talent, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. The man who had received the five talents went at once and put his money to work and gained five more. So also, the one with the two talents gained two more. But the man who had received the one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.
“After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. The man who had received the five talents brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five talents. See, I have gained five more.’ “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’
“The man with the two talents also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two talents; see, I have gained two more.’ “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’
“Then the man who had received the one talent came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. So I was afraid and went out and hid your talent in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’ “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.
“‘Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents. For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (NIV, Matthew 25:14-30)
The master represents God in this parable, and the servants represent us. The English word talent, meaning our natural abilities, is derived from this parable. It would make sense that that is the case behind this. The lesson of this parable is that we must use our talents and abilities, as well as our wealth, in God’s service.
If we do not use our talents for the greater good of God than he will be upset with us, and consider us to be of the world and not of him.
One might think that if we give more than what we have we lose more but I believe that you can get true blessings and wealth from using your talents and sharing them with others. Service to others brings a deeper meaning to life that just having money, power can not buy.
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. (TNIV, Luke 6:38)
If singers can become actors and than have there own clothing line, be dancers than why cant I have many talents and businesses in fields that I wish to be in.
We are all unique and special in our own ways and it may take us a while to figure out what are talent and purpose is for each of these talents but we are all important to the kingdom of God and ensuring that his will on earth is done. We are not of the world we are of God.
Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of services, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who activates all of them in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. (NRSV, 1 Corinthians 12:4-7)
