TRUE LOVE

A young boy sits next to his little sister in their bedroom. As she is hiding her face in his arms, he asks himself, what is love? He thought parents were supposed to love each other.

A teenage girl is lying on the bathroom floor. Through the tears she can barely see the razor, let alone the marks on her leg. She shouts to the empty air, what is love? She felt as if she had nobody to show her.
A woman is picking out another long-sleeved shirt to wear at work in July. She does it to hide the bruises that she has to face every day, bringing her to ask, what is love? She is beginning to believe that this is it.
It’s a question that seems to be as old as existence itself. What is love?
Many people spend their entire lives searching for it, turning up hardened hearts and crushed spirits. We expel all of our energy running towards material things such as money, clothes, or cars, hoping to find love in that. Matthew 6:19-21 advises us not to build up material things while we’re living on earth. They are merely temporary. Money runs out, clothes tear, and cars deteriorate. We also run to societal standards like status, beauty, or jobs. We think that maybe, just maybe, I’ll love myself and receive love when I’m this and I have that. Just as verse 21 says, we can’t take those things to Heaven with us. It’s not true love after all, and it shouldn’t be our priority.
Others beg for God to show them. When we fall upon the feet of Jesus, we see that He is love. It’s easy to become used to hearing about what Jesus did, especially during the Easter, as silly as that sounds. But it happens, and when you truly think about it–about the beating, mocking, loneliness, all of it–you see His love and His sacrifice. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, so that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Humans are the closest thing you can get to true love. We can love deeply and hard. Oh, how imperfect we are, though. Each one of us sins, makes mistakes, is selfish, the list goes on and on. However, we can look to Jesus, the end-all-be-all epitome of love, and make it a daily endeavor to be like Him.

At the end of the day, this age old question isn’t hard to find after all. All we must do is look to Him for a true love that will persevere. When you are down and out or simply need to be reminded, repeat these three sentences to yourself: Jesus is love. Jesus sacrificed His life for me. Therefore, love equals sacrifice.

CREATIVE FOR JESUS

Creative for Jesus
Being creative for Jesus is a process that every Christian should master. If we get this process wrong whatever product that we produce no matter how good it is, it will not be what God wants and no matter how much we enjoy doing it, it will not yield the results we desire because we will still miss a big part of the greatest joys that people can experience. It is important that we recognise the role that
God plays in our everyday lives and in our work. We cannot achieve our goals without His guidance.
In whatever endeavour that you desire to embark on, always ask God to it will be all of Him and none of you. You should be always enter the spiritual realm and be sincere before you can do anything. In this way God’s revelation will pour out to assist you in your efforts in a very powerful way; and this can result in your best work yet.
God wants to give us the thrill and honour of genuine involvement in his magnificent purposes. Being creative in your work is God-like and He longs for his children to know this joy. Through His amazing love, Jesus wants us to be His co-heir and His co-workers so that we can better understand our purpose, he doesn’t want us to dictating machines, operating according to what we have been told and not coming up with any brilliant ideas and methods of our own.
1 Corinthians 3:9 says “for we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, God’s building.” And 2 Corinthians 6:1 continues to say “working together with Him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain.
The self and its knowledge must die. Our sinful dependence, pride, selfishness and trying to earn heaven’s approval behaviour must die. We must yield everything to Christ, acknowledging that his ways are higher than ours. We must also go so far beyond this that we refuse and degrade the belief that our divinely-created mental and physical power is unchristian as we have been taught that everything physical is of the devil.
We must always remember that we have a special place in God’s heart. Physically, the Lord is totally self-sufficient. He needs us not more than the handyman need the services of a four year old. But His joy could never be complete without our contribution.
We are all called to minister with our talents therefore let’s continue to seek to refine our gifts. If we are ever hesitant, the parable of the talents is sufficient to seal the matter for us. (Matthew 20-5:14-30). As we grow in Christ, our motivation intensifies. Our love for God fills us with the desire to develop the abilities he has graciously intrusted us with. We treasure the gift because we adore the Giver.

WHY GOD MAKES YOU SUFFER SOMETIMES?

Why do you think does God allow you to sufferHave you ever considered if He really cares about your sufferingsToday I want to tell you that there are reasons why the lord makes us suffer and those reasons are included in the following according to James L Milton.

Some People Suffer for the Salvation of Lost Souls
God makes us suffer because He is trying to tell us something. By allowing suffering He is showing us that something is wrong. God doesn’t ENJOY seeing anyone suffer, but He does ALLOW people to suffer for various reasons. God may bring tragedy into your life so that he can get your attention. Like for example the leper of Matthew 8:2, do you think he would have come to Jesus if he had been in perfect health? What about the blind man of Luke 18:35?
The Bible is filled with cases where God reaches people through suffering. Nebuchadnezzar didn’t fear God until God humbled him by making him spend seven years of his life on his hands and knees like an animal (Dan. 4:30-37).
No one suffers in vain. God always has a reason, and sometimes He is trying to show someone their need to receive the Lord Jesus Christ. Could this be true in your own life? Think about it. Could the Lord be convicting you of the fact that you are a sinner, and you need to be saved?
Some Christians Suffer for the Lord Jesus Christ
II Timothy 3:12 says, “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” Then II Timothy 2:12 says, “If we suffer, we shall also reign with him…” Jesus said, “. . . . If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” (Luke. 9:23)
When a Christian chooses to deny himself and follow Christ, they choose to suffer for the Lord. The world has always found a way to persecute God’s people, and we should not be surprised when persecution arises. Jesus suffered for us, and we should count it an honour to suffer for Him. In Acts 5:41 the Apostles rejoiced that they were counted worthy to suffer for the Lord Jesus Christ! Jesus said that we should rejoice when we suffer for His sake, because GREAT is our reward in Heaven (Mt. 5:12). I Peter 2:19-21 tells us that it is our duty to follow our Lord’s example in suffering, and I Peter 4:12-16 tells us to be happy when we suffer for Christ, and it tells us not to be ashamed.
God Teaches Us Valuable Lessons Through Suffering
Not all suffering Christians are disobedient Christians. There are many very dear Christians who go through great agony every day, yet they are some of sweetest and most God-fearing saints you’ll ever meet. Why does God allow them to suffer? There are many reasons.
One reason is humility. If we believed some of the popular “Faith Healers” of our day, we’d believe that people suffer because they lack faith in God, but this isn’t necessarily true. The Apostle Paul didn’t live in sin and he didn’t lack faith in God, but he DID have to suffer. Why? He tells us why in II Corinthians 12:7: “And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.” Whatever this thorn in the flesh was, verses eight and nine tell us that God chose NOT to take it from Paul. Instead, He chose to give Paul the GRACE to bear the burden. God used this problem in Paul’s life to help keep him humble, to keep him from being exalted above measure.
Sometimes God sees the need to put us through some things for the purpose of making us stronger. God will also use suffering to teach us patience. Romans 5:3 tells us that, Tribulation worketh patience
Some people suffer so that they will be better equipped to comfort others in their suffering (II Cor. 1:3-4). It’s always a blessing to know someone who has gone through the same troubles that you are going through, for they usually have some helpful words of comfort and wisdom. Are you going through some pretty tough times? Maybe the Lord is giving you the experience that you’ll need to help someone else later.

10 bible verses to strengthen your faith

The Bible offers many valuable quotes and verses on strength and encourages us to be strong in our faith and our daily walk with Christ.

If you are struggling to find the words to pray, read Bible verses about strength and how we must be strong in our walk with God, Jesus Christ, and our Christian faith.
1. 1 Peter 5:7
Let Him have all your worries and cares, for He is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you.
2. John 14:27
I am leaving you with a gift – peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give isn’t fragile like the peace the world gives. So don’t be troubled or afraid.
3. Philippians 4:6-7
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank Him for His answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ.
4. Psalms 40:1-3
I waited patiently for God to help me; then He listened and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out from the bog and the mire, and set my feet on a hard, firm path and steadied me as I walked along. He has given me a new song to sing, of praises to our God. Now many will hear of the glorious things He did for me, and stand in awe before the Lord, and put their trust in Him.
5. Psalms 34:17-19
Yes, the Lord hears the good man when he calls to Him for help, and saves him out of all his troubles. The Lord is close to those whose heart is breaking; He rescues those who are humbly sorry for their sins. The good man does not escape all troubles – he has them, too. But the Lord helps him in each and every one.
6. Isaiah 40:31
Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
7. John 14:1-3
Let not your heart be troubled. You are trusting God, now trust in Me. There are many homes up there where my Father lives, and I am going to prepare them for your coming. When everything is ready, then I will come and get you, so you can always be with Me where I am. If this weren’t so, I would tell you plainly.
8. Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong! Be courageous! Do not be afraid of them! For the Lord your God will be with you. He will neither fail you nor forsake you.
9. Isaiah 41:10
Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with My victorious right hand.
10. Psalms 112:6-8
Such a man will not be overthrown by evil circumstances. God’s constant care of him will make a deep impression on all who see it. He does not fear bad news, nor live in dread of what may happen. For he is settled in his mind that Jehovah will take care of him. That is why he is not afraid, but can calmly face his foes.

VOICE

Growing up I never was given the chance to speak my mind so I reverted to creative outlets to express myself. People made fun of me and told me I would never amount to anything. I was always told that I can be seen but never to be heard. Throughout all of this I was the one that was told I was wrong for what I was doing. So naturally now I apologize for everything I do even if I am doing something right.

The only place I have found that I feel like I am naturally able to be myself and not feel sorry is in front of the camera. I can not tell you how many times I usually get that you are a total complete other person. I do agree with this because I know how to channel different things at the right time and place.
It is funny because when I got accepted to Penn State Altoona, my uncle asked me “how did you do that its a foot ball school is it not?” Well yes penn state is a foot ball school, however I busted my butt off to get into that school and i never actually ended up going at all. I was disappointed and let down that I did not know what to do.
I find that a lot of times what happens with me is inside of my head I know what I want and where I want to be and it most of the time it happens. However I notice that I ask for what it is that I want or ask for help from people that I know love and care about me so I let it go and don’t say anything.  I still get what I want but I don’t say anything. I know I have to speak up though and find my voice.
If I do not find my voice how can I minister to other woman or be an inspiration to others.
All essence there more people that are out there trying to find their voices
If you do not find your voice and declare truth over your life, the people around you and in the places you already have influence, who will? What we need to  focus on is reclaiming or finding our voice to declare truth into our own lives, to our situations or the people and obstacles in front of us.
“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.” – Luke 16:10
Never stop dreaming and going after all that it is God has called you to and put in your heart. However, in the midst of the journey don’t forget where you are right now and how critical your voice is to the story being written in your life. The reality is that all around there are voices declaring all sorts of things and it isn’t always truth, what releases life, or gives hope.

1. Declare the promises of God in your life and to the people around you.

We pray we plan we prepare we do!!!!!!
Habakkuk 2:2
2. Declare the Word of God.
…so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. – Isaiah 55:11
3. Pray in the Spirit.

“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.” – Romans 8:26-27
“For anyone who speaks in a tongue[a] does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit.” – 1 Corinthians 14:2
4. Ask God for help.

In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears. – Psalm 18:6
5. Listen to what the voice of God is saying.

Romans 8:14, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.” Conversely, this scripture implies that if we are God’s children, if we are born-again, we will be led by His Spirit.”
