Year in and year out we always set goals and resolutions that we hope to achieve throughout the year. But as the year goes by, it gets very difficult for us to follow through with our plans and that can be very frustrating as we discover that achieving goals is more than just saying or writing what we desire; but being committed, focused and consistent. To avoid the frustration, there is a better way for us to achieve our goals and that is through God and there are scriptures that can lead us in the right direct. Let’s look at Philippians 3:14; “I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

Sometimes it is difficult to act happy or be thankful when you are still waiting for that 1 thing that every person in the world longs to become, a parent. Sometimes it is difficult to find happiness and joy when you are going through trials and tribulations. But we have to keep going, you have to keep your head up and look at the amazing things that God has given you. If you are finding it difficult to keep your head up, here are a few things you can try to hang onto:

Part of becoming spiritually mature is learning the difference between “no” and “not yet,” between a denial and a delay. The Bible tells us, “He who is coming will come and will not delay.” (Hebrews 10:37 NIV)
