blog tips

Pinterest is kind of like goggle, they’re not going to tell us the secret, we have to figure out personally. Pinterest likes it when you pin a lot, the more frequently you pin, the more frequently your pin we be seen, it doesn’t like it when you only pin your own stuff, you need variety and also from other websites, but the fact still remains that sharing fifty pins at one time doesn’t hold the same weight as repining a variety of fifty images slowly over a few days. Thus Pinterest can be built through the following features, such as board booster, viral tag, tailwind. etc.

Cameras are complicated and it takes time to fully understand them. So don’t try to understand them all at once because you will end up being lost. So here are 10 easy ways to help you take better photos according to Josh, an expert photographer

This post may contain affiliate links. Read my Disclosure for more info.

1. Learn Manual Mode1
Manual mode is much like using an old film SLR from the 1960’s, when they didn’t have buttons that do it all for you. Being the only option, photographers were forced to learn to use their cameras in manual. In doing so, they fully learnt how their cameras worked.
Priority modes are good for some situations but, once you know how to properly shoot on manual, you’ll find there’s no need for them and you’ll get better results on your own
2. Learn Basic Composition Techniques… and then Forget Them
This one might seem a little funny but let me explain…
Once you’ve learnt basic composition techniques, such as the rule of thirds and the use of lines, you start to look at everything differently and see how you might frame a photo, even when you haven’t got a camera on you.
This knowledge sticks with you and subtly helps your photos improve.
Well then, why forget them?
Simple: as a photographer, this becomes too obvious to be interesting and you’ll become bored of your photos. One of the main challenges of photography is to keep your photos fresh and interesting. You can do this by pushing the boundaries of the ‘rules’ of photography.
3. No On Camera Flash!
I can’t stress this enough: on camera flash (pop-up especially) is incredibly unflattering to your subject and really flattens your image.
When the light comes from the same angle as the lens, you’re left without any of the scene’s natural shadows. Photos with on camera flash may as well have been taken on your phone.
When I first started out, I hated the pop-up flash so much so that I didn’t consider myself a ‘flash’ person. This lasted until a friend talked me into buying an external flash unit; I finally saw what I was missing – buy one now!
4. Find a Fresh Perspective
As a tall person, I always find myself adjusting my height when taking photos of people so that I’m not looking down on them. I try to take this a little further where possible and find new ways of looking at photos.
Instead of mounting the camera on a tripod, why not use the floor or through a crowd?
Keeping a fresh perspective maintains fresh photos!
5. Get Closer
I am my own telephoto lens and you are too!
Instead of zooming in, get involved in the photo; see things from a different angle – this allows for a different perspective. Search for the finer details that would usually be overlooked in a scene and make these the subject if you really want your photos to stand out.
Think before you shoot or you’ll forget to think at all.
6. Clean up your Background
The background is as much a part of your photo as the subject so make sure it’s not cluttered and messy. Moving your camera just a few degrees to the side may make all the difference when it comes to cleaning up your shot.
Think about what’s in your viewfinder or on your screen and ask yourself if each individual element adds anything to the photo? If the answer is “no”, it’s taking away from the photos.
Branches, sky and other people are just a few things to look out for. The branch in the shot below really bugs me.
7. Frame your Subject
Look for a way of putting a frame within a frame, like a doorway or window. In the in the photo below I have used a bluebell flower.
Framing can add context to your photos, telling the viewer a little more about what’s going on and where the photo was taken. Not only does this add a sense of depth but also another element of interest that the photo didn’t have before.
8. Get your White Balance Right!
The WB is all about the colour cast of your photos.
Shooting indoors without a flash often results in the people in your photos appearing to have a nasty orange coloured skin. Mastering WB really sets you apart from other people, most of whom aren’t even aware of the problem, and will dramatically improve your end results.
9. Use the Histogram
LCD displays on digital cameras are getting better these days but are still subject to the environment you’re in.
If you’re out and about on a really sunny day, you’ll find that shading the display with your hand doesn’t do the job when it comes to looking at photos.
The histogram is a mathematical representation of how well exposed an image is; a great basis for improving your photography (don’t worry, it’s not as complicated as it sounds).
10. Practice Practice Practice!
Rome wasn’t built in a day; if you want to get good at anything in life, you have to work hard at it – these things don’t come for free.
The fortunate thing about photography is that it’s a lot of fun to play around with and, even though you still think you suck from time to time, with just a little practice, you will always begin to see results in your photos.
Take the steps listed above and read some of the tutorials on this website – you’ll be an expert in no time.

4 Web Marketing Tips for Real Estate Agents

Written By
Web marketing is one of the latest trends in real estate. Before the web became the coolest and most popular tool in hand, real estate agents used old fashion methods of finding leads to sell or show a home. The IDX provides a list of homes for sale for the average website visitor to view when landing on an agents website, but the trick is to get the average website visitor to land on the agents website. To do that, there are some 4 web marketing tips that the Niteskape team has created below. These 4 marketing tips are free to do and great tips that actually work.
1- Subscription. A subscription system is a great way for agents to send their interested web visitor new homes that are currently on the market. It has been proven that there is a sale with constant subscription within 6 months!
2-Videos. Videos are a great way for agents to connect with their followers through sites like youtube and vimeo. Given off their knowledge through videos will attract those who are in need of that knowledge and lead to a possible sale.  A great idea for agents would be to give a video tour of some communities in the area. Most individuals who will be searching for homes in those communities will be very interested in seeing whats out there.
3-Social Media. Social media is very popular in 2016. Growing a fan base with social media can lead to possibly making a sale or two though your main relator website. The great thing about social media is that it allows agents and other people who may be interested in homes to share ideas and connect. Social media is a great way to meet people out of the blue and make some great connection both in the professional sense and personal!
4-Website Blogs. Starting up a wordpress blog on your website will bring massive success and followers. To be a successful blogger on the web, the first thing needed is great content. Agents who blog are growing a great follower list even more than those who are trying other forms for marketing. The best way to get leads is through a site. Lets say an real estate agent writes up a blog, tags it for SEO, and publishes it to the world. A future individual looking of a home may search on google for a question that this specific realtor has written about and they will find an answer possibly contact the real estate agent for other questions.
Marketing through the web is very easy to do,but there must be a level of consistency in every type of marketing. Real estate agents must take advantage of their website blog and social media sites. They can have a tremendous effect on sales and make an agent pretty successful in a short amount of time!

1. Remember that they headline of the post is more important than the post itself. Your title has be to enticing so that people can be able to read your posts. If your title is not attractive then no one will look at your blog. The title has to be interesting to a point where people share it on their own social media pages without a doubt.

This post may contain affiliate links. Read my Disclosure for more info.

2. The size of the post matters. Avoiding dividing the subject of your blogs into different posts or a series of blogs. You should always have all the information shared in one blog. Don’t keep your audience in suspense for too long. If you have too much information to share then choose what is more important and relevant. And anyways, people don’t like reading long texts and they don’t like have much time. Blogs that go viral are the ones that are very short, straight to the point and easy to read.
3. Write about something people want to read. If your content is not informative, people will not read, comment or share it. You content has to be consistent, if you are writing about Health, then stick to health topics.
4. Don’t talk about the same subject more than twice in a row. Where is the creativity in that? If you happen to write the same subject twice, people might like it the first time but the second time they might not like it as much so can you imagine how it would be if you would try for the third time. Give the audience something that will encourage them to come keep coming back for more.
5. Know the next timing to post your blog. We rush to post our blogs as soon as we finish writing them even if it is in the early hours of the morning. But this would not be a great idea or the timing for our target audience. It is best to publish when there is traffic on the internet, around 2pm-5pm GMT from Monday- Thursday. Always schedule your posts so that you don’t miss out.
6. Use styling to increase your readability. Readability is important if you what your post to be read. Design your posts in different ways so that they can be attractive. On one you can have a list with bullet points or numbers than some other time you can just have content without any styling but write your posts more creatively because people don’t like reading long texts.
7. Optimize you posts for search engines. Remember you should always write for the audience and not for Google or other search engines. This way your content will have less meaning. But you can be able to cover both these basis without losing your credibility. You can use the theme of your blog as a tool to rank on Google and to attract more people to your blog. You can also use hash tags and SEO plugins.
8. Link your content in the right way. If you are using extra links for your blog. You need to make sure that those links go hand in hand with the content. You have to let your audience know what you are talking about.
9. Images sell your blog. A picture can say a lot about the message you are trying to get across than content can. So when you choose your images, choose photos that will stand out.
10. Make sure your styling is consistent. You have to use the same styling for your blog, that way your audience can identify with it. Everything about your blog has to be on point all time to keep up with the momentum.

How to build traffic to your blog and grow your social media following using Facebook groups?

Do you want to build traffic to your blog? Are you looking for ways to bring attention to your blog or business on Facebook? If you are sharing good content but you are not seeing your blog or Facebook audience and traffic grow then keep reading these tips to help you grow audience and traffic.

This post may contain affiliate links. Read my Disclosure for more info.

Add a Facebook Like Button or Box to Your Website
People who visit your website are highly likely to become fans of your Facebook page. But how to move them from just visiting your website to liking your page on Facebook?
The easiest way to get a like from your website visitors is to include a Facebook Like button on your website. Using the button allows visitors to like your page without leaving your website. What could be easier than that?
You can place the button wherever you like on your website—perhaps in the sidebar, header or footer.
You can also add the Facebook Like button to thank-you pages that appear after someone signs up for your mailing list, submits a lead form or makes a purchase. Since those visitors have already connected with your business in one manner, they will likely connect with you on Facebook as well.
Include Your Facebook Page in Guest Author Bios
If you publish content on other websites, use your author bio to promote your Facebook page.
Connect Profiles With Pages
Here’s a simple thing you (and every company employee) can do to promote your Facebook page: Add your company as your current employer in your personal profile’s Work section. When you do, you’ll be linking directly to the company page so others can click over at will.
It’s easy to add the link. Go to your personal About page and edit your Work and Education informationClick Add a Workplace and select your Facebook page as the company.
After you enter details about your position, check the “I currently work here” box and choose the dates as applicableMake sure the visibility is set to Public and click Save Changes.
What this does is ensure that there’s a link to your Facebook page everywhere your profile appears on Facebook.
Promote to the Right Audiences
Instead of using the Promote Page option on your Facebook page itself, go to the Facebook Ads Manager and create an ad to promote your page. Facebook ads allow you to target your page promotion ads to the specific audiences you want as Facebook fans.
Create Facebook Groups
Facebook groups have several benefits. For example, most groups on Facebook get a higher organic reach than pages do. That’s partly because when people join a group, notifications are already set and they’ll know when new posts are added in the group (fans have to set up page notifications manually). Other perks include sharing files with your group members and tagging other members for conversational purposes.
In groups you’re interacting with others through your personal profile, but you can focus on your business, industry and related subjects.
You can take the approach of creating a group specifically about your business or you could create general groups based on a particular industry, interest or location.
Posting and promoting engaging content is key to growing your Facebook audience and your blog.Share interesting news about your industry, start discussions on topics pertaining to your niche, tell special stories about your business and pose questions to get to know your audience. Including a link to your Facebook presence in everything from personal profiles to signatures to ads impacts your growth.

It is one of the best ways to find times of day for posting to reach the largest audience. You should also schedule your posts so that you can be able to reach an international community aswellScheduled posts can be bring you a following from other communities that you were initially not targeting.

Some may find this creepy but users of all social networks spend time browsing the profiles of many people they don’t actually follow. The introduction of photo-tagging on Instagram has made this easier, and clicking on “tagged photos” is the quickest way to get a sense of what someone looks like, who their friends are, and what they like doing. The more your profile is tagged in other users photos, the more exposure you can receive through users perusing the tagged photos of their favourite Instagram stars and brands. So whether you’re a blog featuring another blogger, a small business featuring another local company, or just an Instagrammer showing off your best friend, collaborations are an organic and natural way to increase followers for the both of you.
